Denver Egress did a great job on the installation of my basement egress window! It is gorgeous! I should have done it years ago. It has totally transformed the space and added so much light. I now feel like I am on the ground floor, instead of in some dark, dank basement. It’s also a great safety feature and has increased the value of my home.
I had a whole new window installed vs. expanding an existing window. I was rather nervous about someone cutting a whole in the side of my house, but I was in very capable hands with Carlos and his crew. Carlos is a real perfectionist! Very conscientious and careful. The placement of the window and the installation are perfect! Carlos was even able to save my crown molding, which I didn’t think would be possible. Also, there was an electric outlet below the window space that I thought I would have to be sacrificed to get the window installed. Louie, an electrician who works with them, was able to come out right away and re-route the electric line and save my outlet. They even finished in 2 days! It normally takes 3. Their salesperson, Sharine, was also great! Not pushy, just very down to earth and informative. The window is also very solid and of great quality. I highly recommend Denver Egress Windows!

We had our basement window turned into a large egress window recently. There was a bit of a delay waiting for the larger window we selected to be available but Gina did a good job of communicating that and the estimated wait time was accurate. She was also really helpful in helping us decide exactly what we wanted without being pressuring at all.
Carlos and his team did a great job over two days digging up and jackhammering out the concrete deck and foundation required to turn the small window into an egress window. They were polite and professional only bothering us to ask a couple of good questions about our preferences on the job. Carlos even took the time to make sure I understood how the new window opened.
Carlos also made sure there was no left over mess from all that work. (On the outside, this sort of work does leave a lot of dust in the interior room, you should prepare for that before having the work done) Really happy with him and his team.
We don’t have a great picture from the inside because the window is only one of the things we’re doing to the room and we left the wall unfinished since the drywall is being redone next, but we love the look of the window itself. And the room has much, much better light in the morning.

The excavation team hand dug the holes in our very, very rock ground. The installation went smoothly and looks great. When they accidentally left some construction debris in our yard, they promptly returned to dispose of it. I would definitely use them again.

I can’t say enough about Denver Egress Window. I’ve been thinking about getting one for a few years & finally just picked a place without knowing much about them. My brother is a building inspector for Jeffco & I asked him if he’d heard anything negative and he’d not & said DEW is on their resource list, so I went for it. Be patient with the office staff–they are short staffed, so I had a bit of trouble with communications; BUT also, it turned out that some of the emails they’d sent were going to an email I wasn’t checking, so my bad (Gina, again, thank you for your patience with me!! I got little panicky, but you knew all the way along that things were going to go smoothly and they did!). It only took 3 days, start to finish–all 3 teams (dig, install, & cleanup) were on time and so nice. The egress looks better than I’d imagined & it’s completely changed the feel of that room. Anyway, I could go on and on. But I am recommending DEW to everyone I know!

One word describes our experience with Denver Egress Window. Professionals. The communications were good, they were there when they said they would be there. They workers took care of the ground where they worked and cleaned up after and did a great job doing it. They also did 4 replacement basement windows and everything was done right. The windows themselves are all very good quality. The inspector came yesterday and their work passed with flying colors. The inspector even commented that he has quite a few inspections on Denver Egress Windows and never had any issues saying their work is always top notch. They were not the cheapest but far from the most expensive. Highly recommended!

Denver Egress is the topnotch window company in the Denver area. They installed two 4×4 egress windows in our house and it was absolutely painless and fast. At first I thought it was too expensive and other companies were cheaper. I was also considering doing it myself. BUT you get what you pay for. The other companies do half of what DE does and there is not the same level of workmanship, speed, and attention to detail. They take care of the paperwork (and believe me there is a lot) and their subs work as a finely tuned assembly line. They are in and out and they leave your lawn and gardens spotless. If you have a question, they get back to you within an hour. I sat and watched Jared install both windows and was impressed with his skill, attention to detail and craftsmanship. They use quality materials and do not take shortcuts. If I had to do this over again, I would not waste my time talking to other companies.

Denver Egress Window installed an egress window for me a couple of months ago. The price wasn’t the lowest, nor was it the highest. All their employees did a great job. They were careful, friendly, helpful, punctual, and skilled. The quality of the materials they used is great. I was especially pleased that they used a steel header for the window. I’m not sure all companies do that. I do like the window a lot. It swings open fully or, with a twist of the handle, can simply tilt out from the top. DEW pulled a permit for this work and the inspector readily approved the installation. I would recommend this company to any of my friends and would use them again if I were going to install another egress window.

After shopping around, Denver egress window was average for pricing, but their customer service was much better than other options I explored. Some companies tried to get me to install the egress window in a different room even though I had substantial renovation plans that start with this room. I’m happy with the quality of product (disregard the unfinished interior, room is still a work in progress) but the well, window, and custom grate look fantastic!

They installed a 4’X4′ egress window. Did a good job. Better pricing than most. No hidden costs, or “oh, by the ways…”. They will hand dig the window well which most other places I called would not — we have a narrow side yard into which a machine will not fit. One issue: the crew contracted to haul away the dirt in the narrow confines of our side yard dinged up our siding in 10 places. This was not Denver Egress per se, and Denver Egress took some money off and gave us a plastic cover because of it. I told them to urge this sub-contractor to be more careful. I would hire them again — good people to work with.

I loved the work that Denver Egress Windows did. I’ve worked with other construction companies and unfortunately I’ve had a lot of bad experiences. For example, when delays occur other companies never make-up time, leave early and the communication is very poor.
Denver Egress Windows was unlike the other companies. The organization completed my project in the time frame that they promised, even with rain delays. The job site was always clean and the installer always answered my questions.

Denver Egress Window did our Egress and everything is satisfactory. They do work on a somewhat interesting dialog. Meaning, They wanted half down although they were 6-8 weeks out. I run a business as well and would not do that to my customers. I do believe they need SOME deposit to hold the appointment so they can make sure folks are serious. Half seems way too high. They did do everything they we agreed to and were done a week early. Would recommend.

I would highly recommend Denver Egress. I had them install an egress window in my basement that I’m finishing. I decided to go with them because the other companies I called wanted a lot more money. I had read some of the reviews and was a little concerned that I might have some issues. That wasn’t the case at all. I have nothing but good things to say about Denver Egress. They show up on time and are professional. They take pride in their work and don’t cut corners. They left my place like they had never been there. They picked up after themselves. They even swept my street because some dirt got on the road. On one of the days they were there I had a water pipe break in the basement. My fault not theirs. After I got it under control I had about 100 sheets of drywall on the floor that were getting wet. I started moving them and then one of the guys came over without me asking and helped me move all those sheets.
I love the window they installed in the basement bedroom. Everything was done to code and passed without any problems. If your looking for a company that takes pride in their work and customer satisfaction then you cant go wrong hiring Denver Egress.

We had a window put into our shop/laundry area. It is 30″ wide and 5′ deep. We love it! Lots of light now to do projects and we have a clear view now of the backyard and the hummingbird feeder. We chose to put in timbers instead of the metal surround , so now we even have a planter to harvest herbs from.
The crew is hardworking and courteous. I can’t recommend them more highly.

we had stephen, the owner of denver egress windows, help us with the process of installing a new egress window at an old 1905 brick bungalow. (west wash park, fall 2014)
he was great to deal with on the front end of things- punctual, responsive, honest and personable.
we ended up adding one egress window, and replaced two other existing smaller basement windows. one of the windows replaced got a new window well. stephen told us we didnt need to modify the other window well.
everyone we dealt with was pleasant and professional. they handled all of the permits that were required.
the end product was great and there were no surprises along the way; our quoted prices and services were all spot on.
stephen was even kind enough to throw in a few extra bags of decorative rocks for the window well that they didnt do any work on.

I said to one of the many builders that I employ, “John, how long will it take you to excavate in front of these 4 basement eye level windows, cut out the brickwork beneath them, install new windows, shore up the excavated section and fit a grill over the top of it?” John pondered and replied, “A month or so”.

We had the good fortune of coming across Sennett Enterprises as one of the bidders we called in a complex window redesign. Their bid was the lowest by a good margin, but that’s not the only reason we went with Sennett. Steve Sennett himself came out to calculate the job. He spent a good part of his day explaining every part of this detailed job. We had 7 – 4’x6’ windows to cut into a large exterior wall. He spent extra time with us improving the design we had come up with. When the work started, he came to my home every day of the construction to observe and work with the crew to ensure quality. I have a construction background myself, and witnessed much of the work firsthand. It was first rate. When they cut out and reframed my wall, they actually made it stronger than it was by various types of reinforcement. After installation, they refinished the wall beautifully. They came out to do the job when they said they would, and showed up every day until the work was done. I have since called Sennett Windows for 13 window replacements and will have 2 more large windows cut into another wall this spring. I strongly recommend this company to anyone considering new windows.

My general contractor is named Steve Sennett. He specializes in Window installation but just refinished my basement. He is flexible, his pricing is very competitive and he has a whole crew of dependable and friendly guys to knock out just about any job – electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.
Today he sent Felipe – the carpet man – to me to carpet the basement. Felipe worked quickly on replacing carpet for me and was able to use some remnants which led to a great deal on good product that was well installed. I plan to work regularly on projects with these two guys in the future. I think it would be worth your while to speak with them about the projects you have going on.
