About this project

Replacing a 32 x 16 inch basement window from the 1950s with a tilt and turn window in Littleton, CO started with excavation, engineering documentation and permits. Denver Egress Window removed the original window and installed a 30 x 48 inch authentic tilt and turn unit, and the finished opening sits in natural wood trim against blue paneling. Outside, a 52 x 36 x 60 inch Boman Kemp window well in white powder coated metal holds a ladder above a gravel base. The dual action hardware tilts the sash in for airflow or swings it fully inward for exit. Powder coating helps the metal well resist rust as snowmelt and freeze and thaw cycles move through Colorado winters, and a clear cover lets daylight in while helping keep snow and debris out. As the egress window contractor, Denver Egress Window carried the project from paperwork to final install.
