Newly installed basement egress window with a stone-look window well

Egress Window Installation in the Denver Metro

We cut the opening, set a code-sized window and build the well outside, with engineering and the permit handled for you. Most installs are finished in a day or two.

Why homeowners add one

A safe way out, and a lot more daylight

An egress window is a basement window big enough to climb out of in a fire, and big enough for a firefighter in gear to climb in. Building codes require one in every basement bedroom, so it's usually the first step in finishing a basement, adding a bedroom or renting out the space.

It also changes how the room feels. A larger window brings in real daylight and fresh air, and turns a dark corner of the house into space your family will actually use.

  • Adds light, air and usable square footage
  • Same price whether or not there's a window there today

A third-party engineer details the opening for your wall, and we pull the permit with your city or county.

    Install day

Dig, saw cut, header, window, well and waterproofing. Most jobs take a day or two.

  4. 04

Reviews

What egress window customers say

“I cannot recommend Denver Egress Window highly enough. From my initial call to the final installation of our new egress window in our finished basement, the process took only three days—an astonishingly fast turnaround that was seamless and stress-free. The service was terrific, the quality of work is outstanding, and the price was lower than expected. They quickly transformed our basement, making it safer and brighter. If you need an egress window installed, these are the experts to call!”

Jonny Benner

“Steve walked me through the whole process first, then Sharine came to the house and measured everything. After that Gena answered all of my questions. Three day total from start to finish and I not only have two wonderful and beautiful egress windows, but they put all of the landscaping back as it was. They put heavy canvas down so my neighbors landscaping was kept clean of dirt or debris. Very satisfied with the end product. I would encourage anyone wanting egress windows to call Denver Egress Window first.”

Jim Herald

“Denver Egress Window did a great job for us. All of the workers were very efficient and polite. We just love our egress window. A great job and beautiful window for a fair price. I highly recommend them.”
